THE DANISH HOME is located in Croton-on-Hudson, New York, thirty-five miles north of New York City. The Danish Home is an independent retirement residence located on a historic estate. The classical half-timbered stone building, complete with courtyard, gazebo, vegetable garden and orchard, is home for up to 21 retired adults.
Licensed by the New York State Department of Health, the Danish Home is an Adult Care Facility (ACF). Residents enjoy three home-cooked meals a day, assistance with medications, housekeeping and a daily activity program. Local, international and intergenerational socialization occurs on a weekly basis.
At 108 years young, the Danish Home is in good health and spirit. The Danish Home is fortunate to have a committed Board of Directors and a truly caring and devoted staff, dedicated to preserving Danish traditions and enhancing the quality of life of its residents.
