Notes from the ESAAL 33rd Annual Conference and Trade Show

The Empire State Association of Assisted Living hosted its Annual Conference and Trade Show earlier this week at the Saratoga Hilton and the Saratoga Springs City Center. The Empire State Association of Assisted Living is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to strengthening New York State’s assisted living industry and promoting the best interests of providers and residents. Founded in 1979, ESAAL is the only association that exclusively represents the assisted living industry, serving 250 Assisted Living Residences, Adult Homes and Enriched Housing Programs throughout New York State. These member residences are home to more than 22,000 seniors.

Ruth Folger Weiss exhibited at the convention as Founder of and President of Ad Lib Unlimited. serves as a healthcare exchange platform and is dedicated to providing quality information and resources for health care and rehab administrators. Ad Lib Unlimited is a full-service boutique advertising firm in Brooklyn, NY specializing in company branding, ad campaigns and website development, with a unique forte in healthcare and medical marketing.

Ruth had the opportunity to take a moment with Linda Yakatan (Meeting Planner and Executive Assistant for Executive Director Lisa Newcomb) and Cindy Barnett (Adirondack Manor, Clifton Park, NY) to discuss the success of the 33rd Annual ESAAL Convention. The ESAAL convention was an excellent venue to network with like-minded professionals in the healthcare industry, share innovative concepts and earn continuing education credits.

Looking forward to meeting you at next year’s convention!
